Why should I do a Pre-Masters programme?
The Pre-Masters programme at CRIC provides students with full preparation for a Masters programme. We aim to provide you with the skills in writing, reading, listening and speaking that you need to undertake a Masters Degree programme successfully.
You will also be provided with a solid academic background tailored to the Masters programme you wish to study which will be delivered over three modules.

A specific module known as the Integrated Communication and Learning Skills (ICLS) module is offered in every programme which provides students with study skills and language competency across a wide range of areas including, written papers, group work, public speaking, technology assisted presentations, university level referencing and debating.
The remaining three modules will cover the key academic areas of the particular Masters programme to provide students the academic foundation they require to ensure a smooth transition into university studies at a postgraduate level.
What will be taught?

Student will study four modules. The first being the ICLS module along with three additional academic modules. These academic modules ensures that students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds are provided with an academic foundation in the area of their chosen Master degree.

In the Pre-Masters in Law, the three modules will cover the following academic areas at an introductory level:

• Dispute Resolution
• Issues in Law
• Governance and Management

The assessment for the various modules will be through regular tests, assignments and a dissertation. Most modules will also have a final two hour exam.

Is there an English language component – if so that it will improve my English?
